My Story

As a child, I made a decision. I decided that I would use my challenges as opportunities to be resilient and perseverant. Dealing with a brain tumour at a young age, with its lasting physical effects that I still manage today, taught me invaluable lessons about the fragility and beauty of life. It sparked my passion for social work, leading me to dedicate myself to counselling and psychotherapy. Well in Mind is not just an app — it's a heartfelt tribute to someone deeply cherished and a platform to empower individuals to prioritize their mental and physical well-being. 

Honestly, I was also getting frustrated that people didn't have access to proper long term support:

  • Everyone should have the resources to actively care for their mental wellness

  • Education should be accessible and affordable. Therapy is expensive, especially for those who don't have coverage.

  • Therapy and medication shouldn't be the only paths — Find tools that can be used between sessions! 

  • Looking after our mental and physical wellbeing should be enjoyable and a continuous practice.
